- Cj off eggheads- clearly knows the answer but has to tell us the reasonings behind the other options being there, tell us the answer. Can u tell I'm sad, watching eggheads. :-)
- arry twitcher redknapp 'i can't see any deals happening' he says just before he enquires for van der vaart
- Matt Dawson, 'big hug victoria Pendleton, I love you sue barker; 2hat
- clive tyldsley, earns a living from his 'united must score, united always score' comment from '99 champions league final. Has to mention 'that night in istanbul' every time Liverpool play.
- the bloke from the envirofone advert who shouts, "wonga!!". Fat c**t,
spend that wonga on a gym membership.
And finally
- Mark lawrenson. The comedian that the BBC have been praying for. When leeds played derby, derbys substitute pringle comes on, "I bet he's a crisp passer' hahahahaha Mark, right on cue. He gets on my t1ts.

It looks like David Edgar could become our new Graham Alexander, I watched him play at Bury and he looked very solid on the ball, he's also had a great pre season playing the holding role just behind the mid field. I'm pleased for David as he's had a bit of a rough time since joining us last season, Iv'e also been impressed with Brian Easton who could also have a big part to play next season.

Girls and Ladies

FORMER Clarets striker Andy Payton has become the new manager of Burnley FC Girls and Ladies.
The Padiham Predator will take over at the helm of the open age team with immediate effect, and will lead the girls into their opening North West Women's Regional Premier League fixture against Wigan Athletic at Victoria Park next Sunday.

The side ended last season with a 3-1 defeat away at Chester City, which consolidated a fifth place finish in the league hierarchy, 21 points behind leaders Mossley Hill.

However, Payton, who scored 82 goals during his time at Turf Moor, has spotted potential in the squad and is looking forward to driving them to success.

He said: "I had taken three training sessions and had them doing drills they'd never done before, which they loved. They then asked me to be their manager, so I've taken them up on the offer.

Hi Burnley Fans,

I am a Bristol Rovers fan, and i'm here in peace. I'm contacting fans from ALL football league clubs in order to find at least 1 writer per team in the Football League.

I am in the process of building a blogging website, a stand-alone one, called http://www.FLblog.co.uk. Football League Blog is a website that will have 3 sections. Championship, League One, and League Two. I am a keen blogger, I enjoy writing articles and enjoy reading them. I know that atleast one person enjoys writing just like I do, surely atleast one from each club? That is my aim, to find them and bring them together. Football League Blog will be incredibly active, and will include a variety of writing, news, and much more. I am an experienced website builder too, and so am very aware of how to publicize this site. I believe, that if built correctly and the correct people can be found, this site can be viewed by THOUSANDS each day. It has massive potential.

As a fan from another team I am very aware that I will probably receive alot of abuse, but hopefully there are some fans out there who are interested. If you are, then basically what a writer will need to do is write 1-2 articles A WEEK minimum. If you cannot do that, it is recommended that you do not show interest. However, these articles can be short - minimum of 3 paragraphs I'd say.

If you are interested, please either reply to this topic, or write me an email : havokharr@gmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you and, hopefully, reading your articles on the website.

PLEASE NOTE: FLblog.co.uk is currently not up. The domain has been payed for, but it is far from being revealed. I'm currently just recruiting the fans.

Thanks,
Harley Thorne.

Grezza Shortlisted for Top Award!
Posted on: Thu 29 Jul 2010
Burnley fans are being urged to vote for Graham Alexander, after it was announced that he has been shortlisted for a prestigious North West player of the year award.

Alexander will battle it out against rivals such as Carlos Tevez and Wayne Rooney for the title, voted for by supporters, at this year's MBNA North West Football Awards.
